The Seed Corps Helping the World Feed Itself |
 The
Seed Corps was incorporated as a non-profit corporation for a challenge
to a few to provide self-help education to many. Its objective was to fulfill
the theme that "If you teach a man to grow a garden you feed him for
the rest of his life."Eddie Albert, star of the screen and stage, and Ian T. Allison, after a life of corporate management, merged their efforts to start The Seed Corps in 1982 with serious objectives of bringing seeds and gardening education to all parts of the world. We are able to fund the eleemosynary efforts of The Seed Corps from Concept Marketing's worldwide sale of seasonal safety products for children. Both Eddie Albert and I appreciate your support for this good cause.  |
| We Deliver Free Seeds to the World |
| THE
SEED CORPS objective is to get people, young and old alike, to become interested
in growing things. Soon that interest can be directed to growing fresh and
nutritious food. We appreciate the efforts in the past years of our Seed Corps volunteers for aiding in the distribution of hundreds of thousands of free vegetable seed packages to every state in the Union. In addition, millions of packages of vegetable seeds have been sent to many foreign countries overseas where they have helped the people provide nourishing food for themselves. |
